Yup…that’s a fact!! If there is one truth, I have learned from studying sales performance, it is that every individual sales professional and every sales team has hidden revenue and profits locked up and available for harvesting! The trick….is knowing where to look.

Here’s a fact…there is a point in time in every sale where the probability of the opportunity moving forward is at its absolute highest. Here is another fact…if you present your advice…or recommendations too early or too late you will compromise a perfectly good selling opportunity. When your timing is off bad things happen…and you get a stalled deal or client procrastination. Let's label that….when you give perfectly sound advice to a client or prospective client, who has a real need, and they don’t take action….that’s a stalled deal….and STALLED DEALS COST EVERYBODY MONEY.

Here is my 1ST STEP recommendation…build a heightened awareness of how frequent you are experiencing stalled deals and client procrastination. Building an awareness is the first step to avoiding something…think of this Pro Tip…you can’t fix something you can’t see; you can’t improve something you can’t see. Go build your awareness once you get your mind around this…come back and search for my next article …Cracking The Code on Stalled Deals and Client Procrastination. Inside that article I will be helping you understand why they happen and how YOU are hijacking how your buyers make decisions towards change.

Once you have built up an awareness of this sales performance killer and you become armed with a better understanding of why stalled deals happen…I will help you crack the code by giving you 3 moves to start doing to win more of your selling opportunities, I will teach you three steps you can start doing immediately to avoid stalled deals and create urgency towards change.

Remember sales isn’t a numbers game….and when your timing is off bad things happen. Think of this carefully.

Change is hard, but necessary. It works in both situations. Your prospective clients and in yourself!
